Visitor Information
Mercy Health Hospital Visitor Hours
Visiting hours restrictions are 8 a.m.-8 p.m., 7 days a week.Visitors may enter the facility at one of designated entry points:
During regular visitation hours entry will be through the front main entrance.
After 6:00 p.m., visitation entry will occur through the ED.
Points of entry will be restricted to badge access after visitor hours.
Visitors must adhere to posted infection control guidelines. This may include wearing a hospital supplied mask, gown, gloves, or eye protection.
Staff may restrict visitation for infection control in a public health crisis or when visitation is not in the patient's best interest.
Visitors will be monitored for compliance of visitation guidelines and may be asked to leave if they are not following them appropriately.
Parking
Free parking is available for our patients and visitors.
After 6 p.m., visitors must enter the hospital through the Emergency Department. Visitors arriving after 6 p.m. may park in the Emergency Department lot but must move their vehicles by 7 a.m. to allow space for the emergency patients.
Mercy Health Hospital Visitor Guidelines
Inpatients may have to (2} visitors during visiting hours. Family and friends may rotate, but there may only be two visitors in a patient's room at one time.
Outpatients may have up to two (2) visitors accompany them during their outpatient visit. This includes office visits and diagnostic testing/treatment/procedure areas.
Emergency Department patients may be escorted to registration/triage by one (1) visitor. If the patient is at high risk for COVID or had a high-risk exposure, visitor may remain in the room with medical mask to assist with history.
Once patient has been placed in an ED treatment room, they may have up to two (2) visitors regardless of visiting hours.
General Guidelines
Children aged 12 and older are welcome; younger children may be permitted when necessary. Children under the age of 16 must be always accompanied by an adult.
Visitors are to remain in the patient's room. The care team may ask the visitor to leave the room to accommodate a patient test/procedure. Should this occur, the visitor will wait in the designated area.
Members of the Clergy, interpreters, doulas, special caregivers for those with disabilities, and surrogate decision makers are not counted as visitors.
People with signs and symptoms of illness are not permitted to visit.
Symptoms include fever, cough, sore throat, body aches.
Overnight Stays
Patients are allowed one (1) overnight visitor only with the permission of the Unit Manager or the Clinical Administrator
Overnight visitors must remain in the patient's room or in a designated waiting area. Visitors may not roam throughout the hospital or come and go except during visiting hours.
Overnight visitors must be at least 18 years old.
Exceptions
Exceptions may be made for end-of-life care (expected death within 1-3 days), other special circumstances and for those with cognitive or physical limitations on a case-by-case basis.

Patient information, patient room numbers and telephone numbers can be found by calling 513-637-9999. It is important to note that each patient has the right to legally opt out of having their information made public; therefore, our operators may be limited in what information they can provide.
Flowers, Packages, and Mail
We welcome flowers and packages for our patients from their loved ones. If you send items to our hospital for a patient, please be sure to send to the address below and include their name (floor and room number if possible) and we will be happy to deliver these items to the patient in his or her room.*

All mail, packages and flowers addressed to patients will be delivered to their room. Mail received after patient leaves the hospital will be forwarded to the patient’s home if the patient provides us with this information. Florists will be directed to deliver flowers to a patient's home if the patients has already left the hospital.
* NOTE: Patients in the intensive care unit (ICU) are not able to receive plants or flowers for safety reasons. Critically ill patients have a lot of work to do in the healing process. Their immune systems are already working hard to fight infection and heal damaged tissue. Plants and flowers can sometimes carry insects and germs into the environment that may further stress your loved one's immune system.
Food and Dining
Cafeteria
Located just off the Main Lobby (level 1) behind the staircase. The cafeteria is open 5 days a week (Monday through Friday).
Mon.–Fri. 7:00 a.m.–9:00 a.m. for breakfast and reopens from 11:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. for lunch.
Coffee Shop
Located just off the Main Lobby (level 1) behind the staircase right outside the cafeteria, the Coffee Shop serves snacks, beverages and pastries and is open Mon. through Fri., 7:00 a.m.–1:30 p.m. No weekend hours available.
Vending Machines
Vending machines are located on the Main Lobby level (level 1) across from the Coffee Shop
ATM and Banking Services
An ATM machine is on the Main Lobby level (level 1) across from the Coffee Shop
Smoking Policy
The hospital is a tobacco-free facility. Smoking and tobacco products are prohibited on the hospital campus and cannot be used anywhere on our property, including the parking areas.
