Lifestyle in the City (Toledo, Ohio)

Located in northwest Ohio, Toledo is situated along Lake Erie and bisected by the Maumee River. More than 601,000 people call the Toledo metropolitan area home, giving the region attributes of a large cosmopolitan area, but still retaining the advantages of small-town atmosphere and charm. We have semi-professional sports teams that are fun to support (Mud Hens baseball, Walleye hockey) and a safe downtown with many restaurants and bars.

The area boasts a nationally recognized zoo, extensive MetroPark system, a world-class art museum, a symphony orchestra, opera ballet and theater groups, as well as a wide variety of neighborhood and ethnic festivals.

Toledo has its own airport and is approximately 50 miles south of Detroit, Michigan, adding to travel options. By automobile we are about four hours from Chicago, two hours from Cleveland and one hour from Windsor, Canada.
