Program Overview
Welcome to the PGY1 residency program at Mercy Health – St. Anne Hospital. The program started in July of 2021 and is accredited by ASHP.
Overall, the program builds upon Doctor of Pharmacy education to help further develop clinical and professional skills necessary to be a confident, independent and versatile practitioner of adult medicine. Our program offers opportunity for growth while providing guidance and mentoring needed to become an excellent clinical and compassionate pharmacist. Residents work with staff to customize their experience with a mix of required and elective rotations. Residents take an active role in precepting pharmacy students and a Teaching and Learning Certificate Program is offered in collaboration with Ohio Northern University.
Located in Toledo, Ohio, Mercy Health – St. Anne Hospital is a 128-bed hospital providing high-quality health care. In addition to emergency services, our hospital features the Mercy Health Heart and Vascular Institute and the Mercy Health Women’s Center, along with orthopedic care.
