Program Overview
Welcome to the Mercy Health St. Vincent Medical Center Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Program. This is a four-year program where residents receive training at a tertiary care center, as well as at several community-based hospitals. The program offers a diverse population for residents to train in patient care and management. High-risk obstetrical patients are managed by OBGYN residents working with an in-house attending and maternal fetal medicine. The residency program is supported by OBGYN attendings, offering residents the opportunity to learn a variety of techniques and procedures, including minimally invasive procedures through standard laparoscopy and robotics via the da Vinci surgery system.
Program Aims
Train and develop competent obstetricians and gynecologists who are skilled in community and population health, care of the underserved and patient-centered care.
