Salary

Paid Time Off

Each resident receives four weeks of time off split between vacation days, sick days and interview days (PGY-3 only) per academic year.

Academic Stipend

Residents obtain a $2,500 taxable benefit at the start of each post-graduate year of training for continuing education and conferences.

  • Moving expenses: $1,000 relocation allowance, subject to current tax laws and hospital policy
  • Meals: $2,000 annual meal allowance, added to annual salary and paid across 26 pay cycles. Each resident will receive a DoorDash DashPass.
  • On-call quarters: Provided for each resident when on call and furnished with appropriate amenities.

Lifestyle in the Area

Toledo is a mid-size city with an affordable cost of living, manageable traffic and many amenities. We are home to the Toledo Zoo and Aquarium, Minor League Baseball team the Toledo Mud Hens, Minor League Hockey team the Toledo Walleye and the Toledo Museum of Art. The Huntington Center is in downtown Toledo which hosts national entertainment. There are numerous gorgeous Metro Parks in the Toledo area with running, walking and biking trails as well as other activities to enjoy in nature. Several restaurants and nightlife options are available in Toledo and the surrounding areas.
