Mercy Health – St. Rita’s Health Partners brings new technology into its hybrid operating room and to the region. The medical center recently installed the Abbott EnSite Precision™ cardiac mapping system. The mapping system is a next-generation platform designed to provide automation, flexibility and accuracy for diagnostic mapping used in ablation procedures to treat patients with abnormal heart rhythms (cardiac arrhythmias). St. Rita’s was also among one of the first locations in the U.S. to utilize this technology, which received CE Mark in January 2016 and recently received FDA clearance.

St. Rita’s Health Partners Volunteer/Auxiliary Resources president, Jan Kennedy, will present a check for $227,000 to Bob Baxter, regional CEO and senior vice president Mercy Health – Lima Region, at the UNOH Event Center, located at 1450 North Cable Road, Lima, Ohio 45805. The presentation will take place during St. Rita’s Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon on Tuesday, May 23, at 1 p.m. This donation is made on behalf of all St. Rita’s volunteers which includes 463 adults, 57 college students, 161 summer teen volunteers, 88 shadowing students and 207 supporting members. There will be 350 volunteers in attendance at Tuesday’s event.
