Mercy Health — Marcum and Wallace Hospital
In accordance with CDC guidelines, masks are strongly recommended for all visitors while inside the building, but no longer required in our facility.
Visitor Restrictions:
· Visitors should not visit patients if they have recently experienced a high-risk exposure to someone with COVID-19, have symptoms associated with COVID-19, or currently have any other respiratory illness.
· No visitors are allowed for patients diagnosed with or suspected of having COVID-19 (exceptions will be considered for end-of-life situations).
Inpatients
8am to 9:00pm
One visitor may stay overnight.
Visitation may be restricted for the following, but not limited to:
· Situations in which visitation could jeopardize the health and well-being of the patient, significant other, visitor, or Mercy Health employees
· Minimizing the risk of infection
· Space constraints
Emergency Department
· One visitor may remain with the patient for the duration of the stay (exceptions will be considered on a case-by-case basis for certain situations).
· Pediatric patients may have 2 parents, guardians, or supportive family members.
Outpatients
· One individual is allowed in the waiting room for outpatient areas such as endoscopy, lab, radiology, therapy, etc.
· If the patient is a child, the child may be accompanied by 2 parents, guardians, or supportive family members.
