April 2024 He is a very caring doctor who offers great detail regarding the impact of various treatments. He also addresses the risk profile for a particular medication and compares it with the experiences of patients, with which he is familiar from research. He performs a DEXA scan connected with each appointment, and he determined this time that the current medication was not being as effective as he would like (in relation to fracture risk reduction). He didn't allow me to linger on the current medication but suggested two other treatment options, one he clearly saw as preferable. The one he recommended instead is also one that my primary care doctor said she would have asked about/suggested. |
