I was born & raised in Ohio and completed my Orthopedic training including a sports medicine fellowship at the University of Louisville. My wife and I settled here in 2008 as I began my Orthopedic practice. I enjoy helping patients after challenging injuries or with arthritic conditions. I specialize in anterior hip replacement, robotic knee replacement, sports injuries, and Orthopedic trauma. Also enjoy time with family and outdoor activities.

	August 2024 Dr. Abbott was wonderful. He explained verbally and using the MRI images what is going on with my knee, my options and his recommendations. He was very easy to talk with and understanding as well as gracefully answered all of my questions. Dr. Abbot explained to me what happens on the day of the surgery and what to expect after the surgery. His staff Max was wonderful too. He came after my consultation with Dr. Abbott and explained what I need before the surgery and after the surgery. He answered all of my questions and concerns. Max guided me to next steps and gave me a folder with all of the information and instructions I need for the surgery. The entire experience was wonderful from the registration person to Dr. Abbott, Courtney and Max. Thank you for your graceful, positive and compassionate care.
