Meet Jack

I am an Adult Joint Reconstruction specialist. I perform total and partial knee replacements, direct anterior hip replacement and revision arthroplasty as well as robotic assisted surgeries. I also treat general orthopaedic conditions including adult fracture care and arthroscopic procedures of the knee and shoulder. I am a native to the greater Youngstown area and am dedicated to improving the lives of the patients of our community.

	June 2024 Dr. Dawson is a very caring and empathetic person. Due to his intelligence, thoroughness, and ability to think outside the box, he was realized that my medical Issues were not due to the typical "these things happen as you age" and something more was happening with me. He also referred me to two other specialist that he works closely with. Together, the three doctors are finally getting me on the road to recovery! I am very thankful for Dr. Dawson hoping the Mercy Health team.
	May 2024 Dr Dawson was great to explain everything about my injury and explain the healing time table. He replaced my leg split from emergency room visit to a walking cast/ boot which was more comfortable and relieved a tremendous amount of the swelling that I was having problems with. I can't say enough good things for what he has done for me. I owe a special Thanks to Dr Dawson.
