I am an Adult Joint Reconstruction specialist. I perform total and partial knee replacements, direct anterior hip replacement and revision arthroplasty as well as robotic assisted surgeries. I also treat general orthopaedic conditions including adult fracture care and arthroscopic procedures of the knee and shoulder. I am a native to the greater Youngstown area and am dedicated to improving the lives of the patients of our community.

	August 2024 Dr. Dawson was extremely attentive to my concerns. My x rays didn't show an issue but upon examination there were worrisome signs and he wanted to dig deeper. Most Dr.s would have said your x rays are good - hip is fine - it is most likely arthritis, just take Tylenol. Dr. Dawson was truly concerned about my pain with range of motion and my discomfort when he manipulated me and is digging deeper. It is refreshing to encounter a physician who takes the time to listen and to truly get to the root of the issue.
	August 2024 Dr.Dawson was very nice and caring. Took time to answer my questions and concerns. In the past previous drs couldn't wait to leave the room. Wonderful bed side manners in Dr. Dawson.
