As a native from of the Midwest I am proud to serve the northwest corner of Ohio in the Toledo region. My passion is Bariatric Surgery, where weight loss can help patients medically, but also improve their day to day lives. I also have great interest in Robotic and Minimally Invasive general surgery where we can improve patient outcomes in GERD treatments, hernia repair, cancer treatments and colon surgery.

	July 2024 Dr. Johnston is wonderful. I really appreciated his promptness to address my health issue in the hospital. He was very honest and answered my questions thoroughly. At my follow up appointment he displayed even more care and concern for my health. He explained everything again, reviewed my hospital stay, and even addressed questions for ongoing care. I also appreciated that he also recommended the other specialist I was referred to and eased my fears regarding if that physician was one who would listen and advocate. I appreciate Dr Johnston's honesty and I have, and will continue, to recommend him to people seeking care in his arena. Thank you!
