Mercy Health recently earned the highest designation of Electrodiagnostic (EDX) Laboratory Accreditation given by the American Association of Neuromuscular & Electrodiagnostic Medicine (AANEM) – Laboratory Accreditation with Exemplary Status. This reaccreditation is valid through 2027.
Mercy Health has been accredited since May 2012 and is one of only 8 accredited labs in the state of Ohio.

EDX medicine is a subspecialty that focuses on the nervous system and diagnosing the cause of symptoms related to neurologic, neuromuscular and muscular impairments. Specifically, EDX is used to evaluate a patients nerves and muscles to treat pain, tingling, numbness, weakness, cramping and more.

AANEM has accredited hundreds of main EDX laboratories and satellite locations since 2011.
