Mercy Health is proud to recognize the generous support of Kris Campbell and Campbell Mechanical Services as we dedicate the Campbell Infusion Center at Mercy Health – Perrysburg Cancer Center in honor of Keith Campbell.
A longtime member of the community, Keith Campbell was known as a community-minded family man and leader in his family business, Campbell Mechanical Services. In his memory, Campbell Mechanical Services and the Campbell family are supporting the efforts of Mercy Health to improve the health and dignity of all patients throughout the community, especially those who are underserved.
The Campbell Infusion Center provides patients fighting cancer with a comfortable space in which to receive their infusion treatments. For decades, Mercy Health has delivered the exceptional oncology care and the compassionate emotional support needed for our patients’ unique healing journey.
“Mercy Health has always been guided by the Sisters and faith,” said Kris Campbell, Keith’s son. “This gift will help ensure that their mission of serving can continue to support patients for many years to come.”
Mr. Campbell graduated from Sylvania High School and received a bachelor’s degree from Bowling Green State University. A Perrysburg resident, Mr. Campbell was a proud husband to his wife of 42 years Kathryn (Cook) Campbell; and a dedicated father to his son, K. Kristopher (Diana) Campbell, daughters, Kelsey Campbell and Kari (Joe) Christie, and several grandchildren.
“Remaining true to the spirit of the Campbell family’s gift and reflecting their father’s commitment to his community, the Campbell Infusion Center provides treatment for an average of 60 patients per day,” said Jeff Heffelinger, director, Mercy Health - Toledo oncology. “We are grateful for the Campbell family’s generosity and are committed to using this gift to provide direct patient care, enabling patients to remain within their own community, surrounded by their own family and support system.
“Mercy Health would like to thank the Campbell family on behalf of the numerous families throughout our community who will benefit from their gracious gift in honor of their father,” Heffelinger added.
Mercy Health – Perrysburg Cancer Center, located with Mercy Health – Perrysburg Hospital, is accredited by the American College of Surgeons (Commission on Cancer), the American College of Radiology (ACR) and the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC). The center offers precision technology, including the region’s only Gamma Knife, providing powerful radiation therapy and advanced robotic surgery.
Mercy Health will be unveiling signage for the Campbell Infusion Center with a ceremony expressing gratitude to the Campbell family for the generous gift of $200,000.
