The Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation has recognized Mercy Health – Tiffin Hospital for going at least six months and 500,000 man hours without a workplace injury which could cause a worker to miss a day or more of work.
Local businesses also were awarded the Group Award for Safety, the 100 Percent Award and the Achievement Award.
The other recipients of the award included Seneca County, Heidelberg University and Tiffin Community YMCA received the Bureau of Workers’ Compensation’s Special Award for Safety.
