Becker's Hospital Review names Imran Andrabi, MD, to its list of 110 Physician Leaders of Hospitals and Health Systems 2016

Toledo, OH -  Mercy Health - Toledo is pleased to announce that Imran Andrabi, MD, president and CEO, has been named to Becker's Hospital Review’s list of 110 Physician Leaders of Hospitals and Health Systems 2016. The prestigious list features top physician leaders of hospitals and health systems across the country.
 
Dr. Andrabi is listed among physicians who have demonstrated outstanding leadership and clinical expertise throughout their careers and led initiatives to improve their individual organizations and the health of the communities they serve.
 
Dr. Andrabi, a family medicine physician, has been part of Mercy Health – Toledo for nearly 25 years. Prior to becoming president and CEO in 2015, Dr. Andrabi served in numerous leadership roles including chief operating officer for Mercy Health – Toledo; president and CEO of Mercy Health - St. Vincent Medical Center; chief academic officer for Mercy Health – Toledo; and chairman of the Mercy Health Physicians –Toledo Board.
 
A graduate of King Edward Medical College in Lahore, Pakistan, Dr. Andrabi is a diplomat of the American Board of Family Medicine and the American Board of Managed Care Medicine as well as a fellow of the National Institute for Program Director Development, the American Academy of Family Physicians, the Association of International Physicians of Northwest Ohio and the Academy of Medicine of Toledo & Lucas County. Additionally, Dr. Andrabi completed the medicine and management program with Kaiser Permanente as a representative of Mercy Health.
