Mercy Health – Springfield announces that Oakwood Village Senior Living earned the top star rating of five stars from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and the new star ratings index on the Nursing Home Compare website.
The overall rating summarizes 16 quality of care measures for both long- and short-term residents, as well as measures based on health inspections and staffing numbers.
The overall rating ranges from one to five stars and shows how well each senior living facility performed, on average, compared to others in the U.S. The more stars, the better a senior living facility performed on the available quality measures.
