ercy Health – Springfield Invites the Community to Shine a Light on Lung Cancer at Dinner and Discussion Event on Tuesday, November 14
November is Lung Cancer Awareness Month and in honor of the observance, Mercy Health – Springfield will “Shine a Light on Lung Cancer” at a special free dinner and discussion event that is open to the community.
“Shine a Light on Lung Cancer” takes place from 5:30-7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, November 14 at Mercy Health – Springfield Regional Cancer Center, located at 148 W. North Street, Springfield, OH 45504.
Special guest speakers Soumya Neravetla, MD, a cardiothoracic surgeon, and Daljeet Singh, MD, a hematologist/oncologist with OHC, will help raise awareness about lung cancer and early detection lung cancer screening, discuss the lung cancer screening program at Mercy Health – Springfield Regional Medical Center and the evolution of targeted cancer therapies that are now available to treat lung cancer.
The community is welcome to attend the program, which is free and begins with dinner at 5:30 p.m. followed by the discussion. You must register to reserve your seat - please call 937-323-5554.
