Springfield, OH – Adam Groshans has been named Chief Operating Officer at Community Mercy Health Partners, effective March 6. Adam comes to us from Tennova Healthcare Lebanon in Lebanon, Tenn., where he has served on the administrative team for nearly four years.
Adam holds a master’s degree in Business Administration from Cumberland University and a bachelor’s degree in Business/Marketing and a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Austin College in Sherman, Texas.
At Tennova Healthcare Lebanon, Adam focused on business development, marketing, physician relationships, physician recruitment, service line growth, and patient and employee satisfaction.
In a previous position as Sr. Director of Marketing and Business Development of Dallas Regional Medical Center in Texas, the hospital was ranked first in patient safety in Dallas County.
Adam started his healthcare career in a marketing/consulting/recruitment role specific to nursing, allied and clinical professionals.

With Adam assuming the COO role, Alex Rintoul will focus on the duties of VP of Business Development and Strategy.
