Beverly Brooks MD joins Mercy Health North Family Medicine

Beverly Brooks, MD, has joined Mercy Health North Family Medicine in Springfield. Dr. Brooks has spent the past two years providing primary care at Wright Patterson Air Force Base Medical Center and Adena Family Medical Center in Washington Court House. She has also provided coverage for urgent care and family medicine clinics elsewhere in Ohio.

Dr. Brooks also has extensive experience providing care and support in challenging environments overseas. Among her assignments in Afghanistan, she has provided primary care for expatriates and local staff of a humanitarian organization, provided psychiatric consults for facility without a psychiatrist, and provided primary care alongside a survey team in remote mountains. In Nepal, she provided medical, surgical and obstetric care, many times as the only physician, in a bush hospital serving a population of 4 million people.

Dr. Brooks is a native of Cedarville, where she was valedictorian at Cedarville High School. She earned her bachelor of science degree from Kent State University and graduated from Northeast Ohio Medical University.
