Lourdes is pleased to announce that Whitney Evans, Director of Neuroscience, was named winner of the 2018 Early Career Healthcare Executive Regent’s Award given by the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE).

Evans received the award during the Kentucky Hospital Association’s Annual Convention’s American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) Luncheon on Thursday, May 10 in Lexington.  The award was presented by Carl R. Whittenberg, Kentucky ACHE Regent.

All early career healthcare executives in Kentucky who are members of ACHE were considered for this award. The winner was selected based on demonstration of leadership ability, innovation, and ability to promote growth and stature of his or her organization in the community. The winner must also participate in local, state, or provincial hospital and health association activities, as well as civic and community projects.

Evans serves as Neuroscience Service Line Director at Lourdes Hospital, where she is responsible for operations, finance, and strategy of the hospital’s inpatient and outpatient neuroscience services.  She joined Lourdes and Mercy Health as an Administrative Fellow in May 2015 after graduating with Masters of Health Administration degree from Tulane University.  She is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) and the National Association of Health Services Executives.
