As Mercy Health continues to offer a comprehensive network of care throughout our community and beyond, we are pleased to announce plans to develop a new multi-specialty location in northwest Lorain County.
Mercy Health - Lorain is currently working with developer, Edge Development, to create medical office space on Detroit Road. When completed, the new site will bring additional services to the area including primary care and specialty practitioners as well as imaging and Lab services.
Edge Development will present the project to the Sheffield Village Planning Commission on March 17.
“Our mission-centric health system continues to respond to the ever-changing needs of the families we serve,” said Edwin Oley, market president, Mercy Health – Lorain. “This continued re-investment in Lorain County further delivers on our promise of creating and renewing access to care. This new facility is not only convenient but will enhance the current care we provide in Sheffield.”
With Mercy Health’s full array of services right here in the community we serve, patients will have access to Lorain County’s most comprehensive and robust continuum of care for all their health care needs through every aspect of adult life.
“At Edge Development we target premier sites and partner with exceptional organizations to deliver projects that benefit the local communities,” said Mickey Mann, managing partner, Edge Development. “This location in Sheffield Village, “The Heart of Lorain County”, and Mercy Health certainly check those boxes. We are extremely excited to bring this development to life.”
