Mercy Health – St. Rita’s offers Walk-in care for kids

Mercy Health is committed to making health care easy and accessible and as such, we are pleased to announce walk-in hours available at Mercy Health – St. Rita’s Family Medicine.

Children don’t get sick or hurt on a schedule, sometimes parents need a doctor immediately. This new walk-in service will provide easier access to care for kids in our community in a convenient location with providers our community trusts. This walk-in service will be offered at a family practice and therefore not billed with the higher healthcare costs of an urgent care or emergency department visit.

Treatment will be available for many illness and injuries, including but not limited to:

• Colds and flu
• Ear, throat and sinus infections
• Rashes and poison ivy
• Nausea and vomiting
• Bronchitis, pneumonia and asthma
• Urinary tract infections
• Sports, school and camp physicals
• Sprains and strains
• Fever
• Animal or insect bites

Located within Mercy Health – St. Rita’s Family Medicine practice, the new walk-in service provides care to patients ages newborn to 18 years old and welcomes both established Mercy Health patients as well as new patients.

Hours:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 8-11 a.m. and 1-3 p.m.
Wednesday: 1-3 p.m.
Friday: 8-11 a.m.

Mercy Health looks forward to offering convenient, quick and comprehensive care to pediatric patients in the area. Mercy Health – St. Rita’s Family Medicine is now accepting new patients and is located at 770 W. High St., Suite 450.
