St. Rita’s to award 10 scholarships to future medical providers
(LIMA; January 25, 2017) St. Rita’s Health Partners is excited to announce the launch of a scholarship program for future medical providers. Applicants will be invited to participate in special events and activities related to healthcare throughout their education and training. We will award 10 high school students graduating in the spring of 2017 planning to go into the medical field a $1,500 Mercy Health St. Rita’s Health Partners Scholarship.
“We are excited to launch this scholarship program to help area high school students who are on their way to achieve success in the medical field,” said Traci Cox, Corporate Recruitment & Business Development Administrator at St. Rita’s Health Partners. “We hope these awards will benefit them as they pave their career path, and hope to one day see them working in our medical center.”
Applicants must submit collectively a St. Rita’s scholarship application, an official high school transcript including ACT scores and a 1-2 page “why you believe this is what you were meant to do” essay to Traci Cox by Friday, Feb. 24, at 4 p.m.

We look forward to awarding 10 future medical providers scholarships that will help them on their journey toward a bright future. To attain a copy of the application, we have sent these to local schools in our 10-county region and students may pick a copy up from their school counselor or email TRCox@mercy.com.
