St Ritas to host 5th Annual Pediatric Collaborative Colloquium

(Lima, September 22, 2016) St. Rita’s is teaming up with our partners at Nationwide Children’s Hospital, and will host the 5th Annual Pediatric Collaborative Colloquium: Practical Pointers for Pediatric Providers. The event will take place on Saturday, September 24, at St. Rita’s Medical Center in the Auxiliary Conference Center, which is located on 730 W. Market Street Lima, OH 45801. Registration for the event will begin at 7:30 a.m. and will conclude around 12:30 p.m.

More than 50 physicians and allied health professionals in the region have registered to attend this meeting, and will be moderated by Dr. Sheilla McNeal, Pediatrics of Lima and St. Rita’s Pediatric Division Chief. Topics include: realize a higher knowledge about what’s current in pediatric substance use & abuse, a comprehensive team approach to pediatric plastic surgery, digest the “skinny” on managing childhood obesity and focusing our perspectives on ADHD & comorbidities.

St. Rita’s Health Partners and Nationwide Children’s Hospital have a longstanding relationship, and look forward to this event to further educate and train physicians, as well as other healthcare providers on these topics. 

Editor’s note: With September being Childhood Obesity Awareness Month, Dr. Ihuoma Eneli, Medical Director of the Center for Health Weight & Nutrition at Nationwide Children’s Hospital and Associate Professor of Clinical Pediatrics at The Ohio State University College of Medicine, will be available for interview. She will be our speaker for Digest the “Skinny” on Managing Childhood Obesity, which will be from 10:15 a.m. to 11:15 a.m.
