Mercy Health - Bath School Health Center
(Lima, March 17, 2015) Bath Local Schools and Mercy Health are pleased to announce the opening of the Mercy Health Bath School Health Center on Monday, March 21, 2016. The health center is located at 2501 Slabtown Road on the Bath School campus, within the Bath Community Building/bus garage.
Appointments and walk-ins are both welcome. The health center will be open: Mondays 10:30 a.m. 7 p.m.Thursdays 7 a.m. 3:30 p.m.Fridays 8 a.m. 4:30 p.m. To schedule an appointment please call 567-940-1670.
Mercy Health will offer the services of a certified nurse practitioner to meet the healthcare needs of community members. Students, staff and community members will be treated. In addition to caring for common illnesses, the health center will offer including immunizations, sports physicals, wellness visits and other medical services. Mercy Health will accept both self-pay patients and those with insurance.
Consent is necessary for pediatric patients to see the nurse practitioner, and the Mercy Health Bath School Health Center will not replace the care traditionally offered by Bath School nurses. BSHC is designed similar to a traditional physicians office with services to care for more serious health concerns.
