St. Rita’s Campus Police to hold Toys “R” Us Shopping Night benefiting Salvation Army
(Lima, December 8, 2016) On Saturday, Dec. 8, shopping carts will be filling up at midnight at Toys “R” Us located at 2292 Elida Road Lima, Ohio, 45805. St. Rita’s Campus Police will be holding their annual toy shopping trip for the Salvation Army, and volunteers and staff will be filling carts of toys to benefit this organization this holiday season. Last year, campus police contributed more than $16,000 in toys to the Salvation Army and they plan to meet that goal again this year.
These toys will be given to families at the Salvation Army’s annual food and toy distributions on Dec. 15 & 16. We are proud to be able to give back to this organization and its families this holiday season.
Editor’s Note: Jeff Ramey, Chief of Police at St. Rita’s, will be available for interviews.
