St. Rita's Health Partners sponsoring Bradfield Minority Health Fair

(Lima, April 12, 2016) St. Ritas Health Partners is sponsoring the Bradfield Minority Health Fair, which will take place Sunday, April 24 from 1-4 p.m. at the Bradfield Community Center (550 S. Collett St., Lima, OH 45805).

The health fair is open to the general community but vendors and presentations will be specifically targeted to minority populations. Exhibits include: womens health and breast cancer; mens health and prostate cancer; heart health; diabetes management; dental and vision health; and exercise and fitness demonstrations from licensed professionals.

Refreshments and light lunch will be provided.The Bradfield Minority Health Fair is a partnership between St. Ritas Health Partners and the Bradfield Community Center to recognize National Minority Health Month in April. The goal of National Minority Health Month is to raise awareness about the health disparities that affect racial and ethnic minorities.

At St. Ritas, it is our Mission to improve the health of the communities we serve, and we believe that everyone in our community should have the chance to live a healthy life, said Beth Keehn, Director of Marketing & Communications at St. Ritas. This health fair is a great opportunity to raise awareness and empower community members to take an active role in their health care.
