National Drug Take-Back Day
(Lima, April 25, 2016) St. Ritas Health Partners will participate in National Drug Take-Back Day on Saturday, April 30, 2016. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., community members are invited to turn in unused or expired medicine for safe disposal.
Drop-off locations include:
Prescription and over-the-counter medications will be accepted. Medication should be kept in its original container or prescription bottle. The patient name should be blackened out. There is no charge to participate in the event.
With this event, the Drug Enforcement Administration aims to provide a safe, convenient and responsible means of disposing prescription drugs, while also educating the general public about the potential for abuse of medications.
