Mercy Health - Cincinnati, which provides advanced, quality, compassionate care in your neighborhood through its care network, announces that it will open a new medical office complex in Deerfield Township at the District at Deerfield, a major development located at the intersection of Parkway Drive and Mason Montgomery Road.
“The District at Deerfield promises to be one of newest entertainment centers in Greater Cincinnati, attracting both residents and many businesses. Mercy Health’s medical office complex in the District will be a convenient, easily accessible location for residents and area employees to see primary and specialty care doctors and have diagnostic services,” said Mike Garfield, Chief Executive Officer and Senior Vice President, Mercy Health – Cincinnati.
The $14 million, 26,500-square foot complex will house primary and specialty care practices and have 36 exam rooms. Within the first year of operation, Mercy Health intends to offer extended hours at the complex’s primary care practices, including evenings and Saturdays. The primary care practices will accommodate walk-in patients for urgent medical needs.
In addition to primary care providers, the location will also house cardiology, women’s health services and general surgery practices. Mercy Health will offer diagnostic services on site, including lab draws, X-ray, MRI, mammography, ultrasound and cardio/pulmonary testing. The location will open with eight full time providers and can grow to accommodate additional providers in the future. Mercy Health could expand the facility to add further services in the future, depending on patients’ needs.
Mercy Health collaborated with Cushman & Wakefield to select and acquire the 5.8-acre site from Wilkens Associates II, LLC, which is developing the 28-acre site that will be anchored by The District at Deerfield, a mixed-use development featuring the residential feeling of a downtown square. Mercy Health expects to break ground on the facility in July 2018, with opening slated for summer of 2019.
