Mercy Health Fairfield Hospital Hosts Its First Healthy Happy Hour at Jungle Jims on February 15

Mercy Health – Cincinnati, which provides advanced, compassionate, quality care in your neighborhood through its care network, announces that Fairfield Hospital is launching Healthy Happy Hour, a recurring educational series, on Thursday, February 15, from 5-8 p.m. The free event takes place at Jungle Jim’s International Market – Oscar Event Center, located at 5440 Dixie Highway, Fairfield, Ohio 45014.

“Heart disease is the leading cause of death in the United States, with more than 630,000 Americans dying of heart disease in 2015. Right in time for February’s American Heart Month observance, this Healthy Happy Hour will focus on heart health,” said Thomas Urban, Mercy Health north market president and CEO. “After celebrating with you loved ones on Valentine’s Day, show your heart a little love and come to our Healthy Happy Hour. Healthy Happy Hour features complimentary food and wine, free blood pressure, blood sugar and cholesterol screenings, information on services and resources available to the community and the opportunity to get heart smart by sitting in on these informative physician presentations that cover the ABCs of heart health:

• 5:30-6 p.m. - CAD – Coronary Artery Disease
• 6-6:30 p.m. - CHF – Congestive Heart Failure
• 6:30 – 7 p.m. - TAVR – Minimally-Invasive Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement
• 7 – 7:30 p.m. - EP – Electrophysiology and Understanding Heart Rhythm Devices
• 7:30 – 8 p.m. - EMS – A Life-saving Case History
