Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist Joins Mercy Health Physicians
Mercy Health – Cincinnati, which provides advanced, quality, compassionate care in your neighborhood through its care network, announces that cardiac electrophysiology specialist Mehran Attari, MD, FHRS, FACC, has joined Mercy Health Physicians.
Dr. Attari attended medical school at Tehran University of Medical Sciences in Tehran, Iran, and he completed an internal medicine residency at Weill College of Medicine, Cornell University in Bronx, New York. Dr. Attari completed a cardiology fellowship at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City and a clinical cardiac electrophysiology fellowship at Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center, Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. Dr. Attari is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine for cardiac electrophysiology and cardiovascular diseases and the American Board of Medical Specialties for integrative medicine.
Dr. Attari has practiced electrophysiology in Cincinnati since 2004 and he was the director of the electrophysiology lab at University of Cincinnati. In addition, he worked as a professor of medicine at University of Cincinnati and was the director of electrophysiology services and the electrophysiology fellowship at University of Cincinnati Medical Center prior to joining Mercy Health - The Heart Institute.
Cincinnati Magazine has consistently named him a “Top Doctor,” including the most recent 2018 listing, as well as in previous years.
