After completing my surgical training over 20 years ago, I was happy to be accepted into the Cincinnati medical community. I now focus on providing excellent surgical care to my patients on the East side. Utilizing the latest techniques, including minimally invasive laparoscopy and robotics, I am able to help people heal more quickly and with less pain.

	August 2024 Dr Shiff was so nice and he genuinely cared about how I was feeling. Nice bedside manner.
	August 2024 I knew this procedure was going to be difficult due to the fact that I had to have a deep axillary lymph node removed to check the pathology of the tissue for reoccurrence of non-Hodgkin lymphoma. Dr Brian Shiff performed the procedure and he did a phenomenal job considering the depth he had to go into the arm pit. I selected Dr Shiff to do the procedure because in my estimation he's the absolute best general surgeon in Cincinnati.

	June 2024 I know a lot of people who won't trust medical professionals anymore. They gave me a lot of advice about how to avoid surgery and manage my symptoms on my own. I'm so glad that I didn't listen to them. Dr Shiff explained the procedure, told me how long it would take to heal, and explained some risks. Outpatient surgery was a good experience, my pain was minimal, and I'm feeling so much better now than prior to the operation. I'm not experiencing any of the complications that friends told me to be fearful of. If I had gone with the advice of my friends, I would still be concerned about my health, carefully managing my lifestyle so as to avoid more trips to the ER, and afraid. I'm so glad that I listened to Dr Shiff instead of following the instructions of those who would trust in the advice of "Dr Google". They should have their gallbladders removed by Dr Shiff, then they could be happy too.
